Established by Terence Conran and Sean Sutcliffe in 1983, Benchmark is a design led manufacturer of bespoke furniture and specialist joinery. Combining traditional quality with modern technology and a commitment to sustainability, we have a proven track record in the design, manufacture and installation of furniture for homes, offices, public institutions, hotels, bars and restaurants as well as complex architectural joinery. Our clients include architects, interior designers, fit out companies and private individuals.

Benchmark is one of Britain’s leading sustainable woodworkers and metalworkers and is exceptional among furniture makers in having Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).

Based in converted redundant farm buildings in West Berkshire, Benchmark has a full service design studio and 35,000 square feet of workshops.
